Alan Rudolph

Alan Rudolph (Los Angeles, 1943) learnt the trade with the Directors' Guild of America and worked as assistant director with e.g. his mentor Robert Altman (Nashville, The Long Goodbye). Since his début Welcome to L.A. he has shown himself to be an idiosyncratic and intelligent film-maker.
