Adrián Biniez

Adrián BINIEZ (1974, Argentina) was a singer and composer in the 1990s for the Argentine indie pop band Reverb and played a minor role as a karaoke musician in the film Whisky (2004), before he moved to film. After his first short 8 Hours (2005), he made a promising debut as a writer-director in 2009 with Gigante (2009), that won several international prizes including a Silver Bear at the Berlinale. El Cinco is his second feature.
