Abu Sayeed
Abu SAYEED is one of the pioneers of independent cinema in Bangladesh. He began his career as a film maker with the short Abortion in 1987. Since then his films have been shown in various international film festivals worldwide. Forever Flows, his most recent feature,won the Special Jury Award at the International Film Festival of India 2006. It is the official candidate from Bangladesh for the 2007 Best Foreign Language Film award at the Oscars.
