Élodie Lélu

Elodie LÉLU (1982, France) studied art history at the Sorbonne in Paris and wrote her thesis on Greek filmmaker Theo Angelopoulos. She met him as part of her research and the two remained friends, even when Lélu subsequently attended the INSAS film school in Brussels. She has shot a number of TV documentaries about artists including Angelopoulos and worked on his uncompleted, final film until his death. Lettre à Théo is her first feature film.
