Hubert Bals Fund Collection

IFFR’s Hubert Bals Fund is a curatorial fund dedicated to supporting filmmakers around the world. This special collection features a back-catalogue of titles, as well as brand-new releases, supported by the fund. New releases include the online premiere of Window Boy Would Also Like to Have a Submarine by Alex Piperno, the 2014 restoration of Mysterious Object at Noon by Apichatpong Weerasethakul, The Day I Lost My Shadow by Soudade Kaadan, plus The Fever by Maya Da-Rin, Nafi's Father by Mamadou Dia, and The Orphanage by Shahrbanoo Sadat, which all screened at IFFR 2020. Most films in this collection are available to watch worldwide. A few are limited to Europe or the Benelux. Check each film’s availability here.
