Met een introductie van zware regenval en beelden van een kerkhof in Parijs lijkt de film de richting op te gaan van een treurzang. Maar de lucht klaart op en de toon wordt lichter. De poëtische aaneenschakeling van opnames van fragiele bloemblaadjes en skeletjes van herfstbladeren vormen tezamen een klein monument voor de vergankelijkheid.
