Een burleske, hardhandige satire over de heerseres van de Filippijnse filmproductie, de Chinees-Filippijnse producente Mother Lily. Ze is gehaat en gevreesd, maar niemand kan om haar heen. Gelukkig heeft deze jonge filmmaker een adequate oplossing gevonden om de Filippijnse cinema levend te houden. Mother Lily is geen metaforisch verzinsel. Ze bestaat echt - nog wel.
