His body of work includes many remarkable films with an inspirational variety of filmmakers such as <strong>I Am Love<\/strong> by Luca Guadagnino, <strong>Only Lovers Left Alive<\/strong> by Jim Jarmusch, <strong>High Life<\/strong> by Claire Denis, and <strong>Little Women<\/strong> by Greta Gerwig. Last year, he also filmed the British war film <strong>Blitz<\/strong> by Steve McQueen. Le Saux has received several awards and nominations from the Golden Globes, the European Film Awards and international film festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The jury for this year\u2019s Robby M\u00fcller Award noted: \u201cYorick Le Saux&#8217;s visual language is defined by close observation and a deep attachment to reality, supporting and elevating the story without ever overshadowing it. With a clear sense of rhythm, atmosphere, and emotion, he adapts effortlessly to a wide range of genres, narratives, and aesthetics.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He joins a number of celebrated cinematographers among the previous winners, including Lol Crawley (2025), Grimm Vandekerckhove (2024), H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Louvart (2023), Sayombhu Mukdeeprom (2022), Kelly Reichardt (2021) and Diego
