The awards recognise outstanding projects presented at IFFR Pro\u2019s co-production market CineMart and work-in-progress platform Darkroom. Meet the esteemed juries behind each award.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9;\" class=\"wp-block-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/iffr.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/01\/20230131-IFFR-Pro-Awards-JandeGroen-0964.jpg?image-crop-positioner-ts=1738151887\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:100%;height:100%;object-fit:cover;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Presenting four new Darkroom awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s edition introduces four new awards exclusively for Darkroom projects, expanding opportunities for work-in-progress initiatives that push the boundaries of storytelling:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Outward Gaze Award:<\/strong> The PJLF Arts Fund offers the new award, worth \u20ac10,000, to an outstanding Darkroom project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Filmmore Work-in-progress Post-production Award:<\/strong> Filmmore, a leading full-service post-production, editing and visual effects facility based in Amsterdam, offers a new award, worth \u20ac5,000, to a Darkroom project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>4DR Studios Award for Best Immersive Project in Darkroom: <\/strong>4DR Studios offers a volumetric video studio package to a Darkroom project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>HBF Empowerment Award: <\/strong>The Hubert Bals Fund is granting an award thanks to a private donor, worth \u20ac10,000, to a Darkroom project \u2013 to empower filmmakers who come from politically challenging contexts or whose works addresses themes such as freedom of expression, displacement, human rights and\/or underrepresented communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Continuing IFFR Pro awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the new additions, several long standing awards continue to spotlight exceptional talent.
