The purpose is to offer emerging professionals the means to build and develop their network, providing confidence, tools and skills to navigate the world of international film financing, production, sales, marketing, festivals and distribution.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Once again, with the financial support of <strong>Creative Europe MEDIA <\/strong>strand<strong>,<\/strong> we\u2019re launching an <strong>open call<\/strong> for participation, with a maximum of five spots available for selected producers. Therefore, we invite applications from:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Film producers based in Africa and the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Film producers based in a European low production capacity country* that is not currently represented by one of our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/iffr.com\/en\/iffr-pro\/talent-development\/rotterdam-lab\/rotterdam-lab-participants-2026\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">partner<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> organisations.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Producers who have made at least two short films and are currently working on their first or second feature film, with the aim of co-producing internationally.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Producers with a strong interest in working internationally who can clearly demonstrate a need to expand their international network.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applicants may be independent producers working for their own companies, freelancers, or junior producers working for more established production companies.
