Joining the team is David Lauwen, who will assist in monitoring and advising the IFFR Board of Directors and organisation as a whole.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<figure style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9;\" class=\"wp-block-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1684\" height=\"1037\" src=\"https:\/\/iffr.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/10\/JODU_000035_2021.06.18_David_lauwen-1.jpg?image-crop-positioner-ts=1727954182\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"portrait of David Lauwen; a blonde man in a dark blue suit looks directly into the camera\" style=\"width:100%;height:100%;object-fit:cover;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>David Lauwen started his role on the Supervisory Board last month, complementing existing members Korrie Louwes (Chair), Anoesjka Imambaks, Hanneke Niens, Nanouk Leopold, Nicky Koopman and Pieter Guldemond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is an honour to become a member of the Supervisory Board of IFFR, a festival that plays a crucial role in both the international film landscape as well as Rotterdam\u2019s cultural diversity. The media landscape is changing rapidly and I look forward to contributing to the strategic growth, innovation, and strengthening of IFFR\u2019s international position.\u201d \u2013 David Lauwen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Lauwen is a director and supervisor with extensive experience in both the cultural and creative sector and mainstream SMEs. He recently started as Chairman of the Executive Board of Codarts in Rotterdam. David has worked as an advisor for OCW, the Film Fund and Eye Filmmuseum, and is currently a supervisor at Omroep ZWART, de Melkweg and Brabant C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t<div data-name=\"acf\/block-posts\"
