Our largest financiers include the European Union (through the Creative Europe MEDIA programme<\/a>), the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, Rotterdam Council and Nederlands Filmfonds. Together with our main partners, VriendenLote<\/a>rij<\/a>, Fonds 21<\/a>, vfonds<\/a>, de Volkskrant<\/a>, and Stichting Droom en Daad<\/a>, these long-term partnerships are crucial to our success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An ambitious education programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Continuity is important. In a world where the media easily reaches us, it is of great importance to offer young people a different voice, to stimulate them, and to inform them about subjects that they do not readily encounter. By investing heavily in an ambitious education programme, IFFR reaches around 28,000 students of different ages and school levels every year. They learn to look critically, creatively and comprehensively, as well as relate to the stories of others through others. Partly thanks to the involvement of various partners, we continuously work on increasing both the reach and the impact. IFFR would like to thank Fonds 21, VSBfonds, Elise Mathilde Fund, Erasmus Foundation, Stichting Bevordering van Volkskracht and the G. Ph. Verhagenstichting warmly for the involvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rotterdam in the picture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Special attention goes to our collaborations with entrepreneurs from Rotterdam and local businesses. Together we put the city on the map and offer a unique festival experience, such as coffee from Ketelbinkie<\/a> or a limited-edition festival beer from beer brewery Kaapse Brouwers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A partnership with IFFR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The festival gets its shine by the various organisations, funds, partners and patrons who support the festival. Thanks to their enthusiasm, we can support independent filmmakers, bring the latest film art from all over the world to Rotterdam and give filmmakers an important stage. IFFR likes to work with partners who share our mission and who not only contribute with financial resources, but also look for new ways to realise shared ambitions. The festival is always open to new collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t
