International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) presents a leading film festival and year-round programme. We support new and adventurous filmmaking talent, also beyond the screening room, through initiatives such as CineMart, the Hubert Bals Fund, Rotterdam Lab and other industry activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In January each year, we bring together emerging and established filmmakers and artists from around the world to showcase a visionary programme of independent films, talks, exhibitions, performances, installations, immersive media and more. IFFR attracts over 300,000 visits to screenings and events annually. We also organise a range of film-related activities throughout the year, with our Filmclub and other collaborations with Rotterdam-based partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you know how to turn a film festival into entertaining TikTok content? IFFR is looking for a TikTok Content Creator to bring the energy of the festival to life on our channel, from October to September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the role<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As our TikTok Content Creator, you’ll be responsible for planning, filming and editing content that captures IFFR’s world. From behind-the-scenes festival moments to films, filmmakers and the community around them. You know how to spot a trend, adapt it to IFFR’s voice, and turn everyday festival happenings into content people want to watch. This is a project-based assignment running from October 2026 through the festival in February 2027.

    • Create a Tik Tok strategy together with the Social Media Coordinator\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Come up with creative content ideas and concepts<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Plan the content calendar together with the Social Media Coordinator\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Film and edit short-form content for IFFR’s TikTok channel\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Capture behind-the-scenes festival moments, films, filmmakers and the community around them<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Spot and adapt relevant trends to fit IFFR’s voice and audience<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Post 1 video per week during low season (October\/mid-December)<\/span><\/li>\n

      • You have a strong feel for TikTok trends, formats and pacing<\/span><\/li>\n
      • You have experience filming and editing short-form video content<\/span><\/li>\n
      • You can work independently and meet agreed deadlines<\/span><\/li>\n
      • You have a creative eye\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • You have an affinity with film and festival culture, and understand IFFR’s audience<\/span><\/li>\n
      • You’re fluent in English; Dutch is a plus<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t
