We support new and adventurous filmmaking talent, also beyond the screening room, through initiatives such as CineMart, the Hubert Bals Fund, Rotterdam Lab and other industry activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January each year, we bring together emerging and established filmmakers and artists from around the world to showcase a visionary programme of independent films, talks, exhibitions, performances, installations, immersive media and more. IFFR attracts over 300,000 visits to screenings and events annually. We also organise a range of film-related activities throughout the year, with our Filmclub and other collaborations with Rotterdam-based partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>None of this would be possible without the people who choose to support us. Our private donors help keep the festival running, which is why we&#8217;re looking for a <strong>Coordinator Donations &amp; Private Giving<\/strong> to support us in maintaining and growing this community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the role<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Coordinator Donations &amp; Private Giving coordinates IFFR&#8217;s private fundraising and manages relationships with our donors. You&#8217;ll work on growing our donor base, keep donors engaged and come up with new, creative ways to involve the people who support IFFR. You help them feel seen and valued. Newsletters and invitations should have a personal touch and tone.<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">Ownership and initiative. You don&#8217;t wait for instructions \u2013 you manage your own workload and pick things up yourself.<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">A creative, analytical mind. You can read data, frame a problem and come up with solutions.<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">Strong organisational skills. You multitask, manage your time and stay on top of things when a lot is happening at once.<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English.<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">A HBO or university-level education, ideally with a business or cultural-sector background. Experience with donations or fundraising in another sector is also welcome.<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">Confidence with the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, and a willingness to learn new systems.
