Filmmaker Diana Al-Halabi won the RTM Pitch Prize at IFFR 2023, which allowed her to realise this film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The screening of <strong>The Battle of Empty Stomachs \u0645\u0639\u0631\u0643\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0645\u0639\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u062e\u0627\u0648\u064a\u0629 <\/strong>is accompanied by an activity in which participants will learn about Halabi\u2019s filmmaking process and are given tools to start thinking about creating narratives. What kinds of decision making go into making a film, and what is the motivation behind these creative decisions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop will be given in English. The film is in Arabic and English with English subtitles.
