Victor Cunha

Victor Cunha was born in Salvador, Brazil in 1988. He moved to Denmark with his family in 1995. In 2015 Victor was accepted to the acclaimed National Film School of Denmark, where he graduated as a producer in 2019. The same year he co-founded the production company Monolit Film. Prior to film school Victor worked at Danish broadcaster DR on TV-series such as The Killing, while concurrently producing smaller projects independently. Victor is currently in production with the documentary Better I Go Suffer and in development with several feature films and TV-series.

Monolit Film – Denmark

Monolit Film is a Copenhagen-based production company founded in 2019 by producers Emily Nicoline Quist, Pernille Tornøe & Victor Cunha. We are dedicated to developing new talent and strong personal voices in feature films, documentaries and serial fiction. Monolit Film is driven by filmmakers who provide unique perspectives on significant issues and challenge the understanding of ourselves and the world we live in. We approach collaborations with curiosity, persistence and care, while constantly re-examining our creative processes and challenging the stories we tell.
