Updates festival visit IFFR 2021 in June

We are preparing for a hybrid festival where physical visits in Rotterdam are possible with strict limitations. Physical programming and Covid-19 measures are always susceptible to change. Read our Covid-19 safety protocol before buying tickets and again before visiting the festival.

In order to visit the festival, you are required to present a negative coronavirus test via testenvoortoegang.nl. That would mean that all visitors need to get tested within 40 hours of the event. This is not yet certain. We are currently working on adding practical information about this on this page.

Updates to already-published information

The programme is always susceptible to change. A number of adjustments have been made since the IFFR programme supplement for the Volkskrant newspaper went to press. The next step in the Dutch government’s opening plan has been postponed, which means that not all scheduled physical screenings can take place. With the exception of physical screenings in Rotterdam (susceptible to change) as indicated above.

Below you will find events in the programme that have unfortunately been cancelled:

  • IFFR near you with physical screenings across the Netherlands
  • IFFR Volkskrantdag at theatres across the Netherlands
IFFR Volkskrantdag will go ahead online and in KINO Rotterdam
  • Art Directions – Time Machine
  • Art Directions Moving Perspectives including Voice Engine, (No) Time and Resetting Birds’ Memories
  • Kids Only
  • IFFR in Groningen
  • Education screenings 31 May – 4 June

Below you will find events in the programme that have been adjusted:
