Tristan Bergé

Tristan was born in 1990 and grew up in Marseille. He now works and lives in Paris. Following his first experience in distribution (Wild Bunch Distribution, Pathé), Tristan worked with producer Isabelle Madelaine at Dharamsala, where he participated in the production of the latest films by Alice Winocour, Claire Burger and Constance Meyer (2015-2021). There, he also produced his first short films (including The Nights Alone by Olivier Strauss, purchased by Arte and awarded at Palm Springs in 2020). In 2021 Tristan decided to devote his time fully to the success of Kalpa films, which had been established in late 2018. As the sole player at Kalpa Films, he is currently developing and producing several projects of various sizes, often co-producing with recognized producers.

Kalpa Films - France

Kalpa Films is a new independent production company founded and managed by producer Tristan Bergé. Producing short films initially (Hâte-toi, selected for the FIDMarseille 2020 and still available on DAFilms; and Carla, currently available on OCS in France), it is now financing its first long features. Alone or in delegated co-production, it welcomes projects in all genres. Among these, the historical drama and portrait of a female doctor plunged into a city in chaos, Les danseurs de Strasbourg by Zoé Labasse is being co-produced with Avenue B and has received development supports from the CNC, the Grand Est region and participated in the Emergence residence; the social thriller Carjackers, written by established screenwriter Kamel Guemra is co-produced with Same Player; and L’enfant seul by Italian director Valentina Casadei, with Les Films de la Capitaine.
