Temilola Adebayo
Temilola Adebayo is a Toronto-based Nigerian-Canadian filmmaker. Fresh out of university with a Mathematics degree, she pivoted into a career in the media industry. She was head of productions and group channels' manager at cable TV operator, African Cable Television (ACTV) as well as being the first ever Production Manager hired by cable TV operator StarTimes Nigeria. She also produced Nigeria's first live-action animated film, Dognapped, which screened across cinemas in Nigeria and won Best Animated Film at TINFF.
An honours graduate of the Television & Film Business Programme at Centennial College, she joined Toronto-based animation company, Guru Animation Studio as a production accountant on the Nickelodeon animated series Abby Hatcher and later transitioned to being a production coordinator on Sesame Street’s Mecha Builders.
Temilola is a 2021 Producer’s Lab Alum of the Canadian Film Centre – Canada’s leading incubator for visual creatives. She is currently developing her feature film titled When Secrets Take Flight (Canada/South Africa/Nigeria) which earned her a selection as one of the fellows of the 2022 Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Initiative. Temilola is also a 2022 Adjunct Lecturer of the Multichoice Talent Factory Nigeria.
Temilola currently works as a producer with award-winning Canadian production company Hungry Eyes Media where she's involved in the business affairs, development and production of multiple projects across various formats.
