Shee Heng Kuek

Kuek Shee Heng is a film producer. He grew up in the south of Malaysia, but lived for almost 12 years in Taipei, Taiwan. Based on his cross-cultural background, he started his career with a Taiwan-Philippines co-produced short film named Arnie, which premiered at Semaine de la Critique, Cannes. Shee spent the past five years building his experience and vision, producing several short films which were released at a number of international festivals. In 2018, he founded Aview Images, focused on author-driven cinema. He is currently developing Lungyin Lim’s second feature Malice, and Leo Li’s action series Migrant Fighter.

Aview Images is a Taiwan-based production and sales company, founded in 2018 by Kuek Shee Heng.
They see discovering “new language and new film” as their duty, desiring always to explore new possibilities for images.
