Séverine Catelion

Born in Martinique and living in Paris, Séverine is a producer with a keen interest in developing projects from the African diasporas and continent. She focuses on international co-productions and has partnered with companies like Merveilles Production (Bénin), Lazennec & Associés (France), Les Films du Djabadjah (Burkina Faso), Republic of Story (Scotland), Chronoprod (Martinique). Her current projects in the development range from short to feature film and documentaries. As a multifaceted professional, Séverine’s activities also include film marketing and curating. Whether she’s involved in the making, programming or promoting of a film, her sole focus is to make that film meet its audience.

Merveilles Production - Bénin

Merveilles Production is an independent production company based in Benin. It cultivates a committed relationship with African filmmakers and focuses on revealing new talents by producing first and second films. Since the creation of the company in 2011, the team successfully released several awarded documentaries rooted in reality, history, arts and culture, but also short films, features and tv series.
