Seán Devlin

Seán is a first generation Filipino-Chinese-Irish Canadian filmmaker and comedian. He was a consulting producer on the Oscar-nominated Borat: Subsequent Movie (2020); winner of the Golden Globe for Best Picture - Comedy or Musical. For his debut feature film When The Storm Fades (2018), the Director’s Guild of Canada presented Seán with the Emerging Canadian Director prize at the 37th VIFF. The film earned Sean two international festival jury prizes for Best Director and won Best Canadian Film at the Gimli Film Festival as well as two Vancouver Film Critics’ Awards. His debut stand-up album Airports, Animals (2021) was nominated for the 2022 JUNO award for “Comedy Album of the Year''. His second feature film, Asog, is currently in post-production.

Beb Bingo Entertainment - Canada

Beb Bingo Entertainment (BBE) is a Canadian production company founded by award winning filmmaker and comedian Seán Devlin 叶世民. BBE is committed to working with historically excluded voices on their own terms, both internationally and domestically. It focuses on politically charged comedies. The company’s current development slate includes feature films, sitcoms and a prank-based docuseries. These projects use comedy to tackle a variety of sobering subjects including climate change, immigration and the intergenerational impacts of domestic violence.
