Rebecca Roos

Born in the Netherlands, Rebecca Roos (1967) and her family moved to Aruba, where her father is from, when she was one year old. She returned to the Netherlands to attend high school and university. She worked for the Aruba Broadcast Corporation; the first 9 months getting the new TV station ATV ready for broadcast, during which she also did internships at NBC and ABC Miami (FL, USA), and another year while the station was on the air. Her main tasks were programme manager, producer, and director of the news and other shows. In 1998 Rebecca started her own production company, Rebecca Roos Productions N.V., through which she produces and directs documentaries, PSA's, corporate and institutional videos, and feature and short films. Besides producing her own projects, she also functions as local producer, fixer and/or production manager on international commercial campaigns, films, reality TV shows and photoshoots. Rebecca has produced over 20 documentaries, 20 corporate and/or institutional videos, one feature film,one short film, over ten PSA/Commercials, worked on reality TV shows, international feature films and a large number of international commercial campaigns, photoshoots, and other audiovisual productions

Rebecca Roos Productions N.V. – Aruba

Rebecca Roos Productions NV is an independent all service production company established in 1998 in Aruba. The production company is most renowned for its documentaries but also produces narrative films and facilitates international productions shooting in Aruba and the Caribbean.
