Zai Kuning

Zai KUNING (1964, Singapore) is at home in many artistic disciplines, varying from video, poetry and theatre and dance, to performance, music and installations. In the past he collaborated intensively with The Substation, Singapore's first independent contemporary arts centre. He was also active within the first New Criteria Visual Arts Programme in 1992. As part of the Theatre Works Residency Project, the last years he has been researching the lives of the Orang Laut in the Riau Islands.
