Yokohama Satoko

YOKOHAMA Satoko (1978, Japan) graduated from university in Yokohama. After about a year of working as an office worker, she entered the film school in Tokyo. With her short film Chiemi and Kokkunpatcho (2004) she won Best Film Award at a film festival in Osaka in 2006. With the grant from the festival, she made German + Rain, which won the Grand Prix at the same festival.
