Yeon Sangho

YEON Sangho (1978, South Korea) is a director and screenwriter. He graduated from Sangmyung University with a degree in Western Painting. He made several short films, and in 2004 he founded his own production house Studio Dadashow. Yeon made his first feature-length animation film The King of Pigs in 2011, which was the first Korean animated film to be invited to the Cannes Film festival. His feature film Train to Busan (2016) set a record as the first Korean film of 2016 to break the audience record with over 10 million theatregoers.
