Wan Jen

After studying Foreign Languages in Taiwain, WAN Jen (1950, Taiwan) was educated in film in California. During his time in the United States, Wan made two successful short films. In the early 1980s, he returned to Taiwan where he made the omnibus film The Sandwich Man (1983) with Hou Hsiao-Hsien and Zeng Chuang-Hsiang. Ever since, he has made successful films such as Super Citizen Ko (1995) and Connection by Fate (1998).
