Varun Grover

Varun GROVER (1980, India) is a screenwriter, filmmaker, comedian and lyricist based in Mumbai. He is the lead writer and executive producer of Netflix India’s series, Sacred Games (2018-2019). His debut feature as a screenwriter, Masaan (2015), screened in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes Film Festival in 2015, and went on to win the FIPRESCI Jury of Film Critics Prize and the Promising Future award. All India Rank (2023) is his directorial debut, which has its world premiere at IFFR 2023.
