Tim PLESTER (1970, UK) graduated from Dartington College of Arts in Devon, with a BA in Theatre. He went on to obtain an MA in playwriting studies from Birmingham University. Plester is an actor, playwright and filmmaker. He is winner of the 1992/1993 National Student Playwright of the Year award. Plester’s award-winning documentary Way of the Morris premiered at SXSW in 2011, and was co-directed by Rob Curry. The Ballad of Shirley Collins (2017), world premiere at BFI London, is Plester's second collaboration with Curry.
