Theo Janssen

Theo Janßen (1949, Oldenburg) was trained as a carpenter and then studied visual communication from 1971 to 1977 at the Visual Arts College in Hamburg, majoring in photography. From 1978 to 1981 he cooperated on a documentary project in the Ruhr Valley. Since 1981 he has been working as film-maker and musician in Hamburg. He teaches at colleges for film and music and is also sax-player in several bands.
