Taylor McIntosh

Taylor McINTOSH (USA) is a Maine born, Brooklyn based filmmaker, photographer, and educator whose collaborations have shown at festivals including International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Berlinale, and SXSW.

He has traveled the world making films that range in subject matter; from gold miners on the coast of Alaska and prisoners incarcerated in the Haitian National Penitentiary, alternative death rituals throughout the United States and Somali refugees stranded in Nepal. Regardless of form, Taylor is most interested in exploring honest and empathetic stories about those who live on the edge of society in a world of their own.

He has taught filmmaking at the Maine Media Workshops and University of Colorado Boulder. Currently he works by trade as a cinematographer.
