Tamara DONDUREY graduated from Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov Documentary Film and Theatre School. Her graduating documentary, 21 Days, was shown in the main competition of Kinotavr Film Festival and took part in many Russian and international festivals. The short film Little Train won the Prize for Best Director at Dvizhenie Film Festival. Her short film New Moscow won the Jury Diploma for the Search at Kinotavr Film Festival and the RuArts Fund Prize For Modern Art in Cinema. Stand By Me (2021) is Dondurey's feature debut.
