Stefan SCHALLER (b. 1982, Germany) studied politics and theatre in his birthplace of Munich. He acquired experience as a script developer with the Berlin Boje Buck Produktion and studied theatre directing at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy. In 2007, he wrote the script for the children’s film Hände weg von Mississippi, which won a Deutsche Filmpreis. After several short films, 5 Years is his feature debut.
