Sonia Herman Dolz
Sonia HERMAN DOLZ (1962, Madrid), daughter of a Spanish mother and Chech/Peruan father, was trained at the Free Academy in The Hague by Frans Zwartjes. Her documentary Black Tears was a major international hit in 1997. Various retrospectives have been dedicated to Herman Dolz' work, by the International Film Festival Sevilla in 2005, Documenta Madrid in 2007 and Independent Film Festival Barcelona in 2008. Her Conducting Boijmans has its world premiere in IFFR 2015.
