Sayombhu Mukdeeprom
Sayombhu MUKDEEPROM (1970, Thailand) is a cinematographer. He graduated in Motion Picture and Still Photography from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. He has been praised worldwide for his works, such as Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives (2010), which was awarded the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival in 2010. Antonia (2015) was his first non-Thai film. He collaborated with the Italian filmmaker Luca Guadagnino for the well-known Academy nominee Call Me By Your Name (2017) and Suspiria (2018). He also did the cinematography for the short film The Staggering Girl (2019). He has been active as a cinematographer since 2000 and continues to be.
