Het zwijgen van Helena
Subdued, oppressive student film about strong family ties during difficult times. A mother on holiday with her adult children, dies.
Impressive documentary with fictional elements that stays close to the characters and their environment. Roma Kevin Mroc and his family's struggles - threatened by eviction from their squatted home - are freely combined with the story Kosmos by Witold Gombrowicz.
In the back room of a flower shop, Tomi, Rasto and Mižu are digging a tunnel in order to break into the safe of the National Bank. After heavy rainfall, the underground maze gets submerged by water and they are forced to stop working. (Courtisane Festival)
