Rosa Menkman

The Dutch Rosa MENKMAN (1983) works as a video artist in analogue and digital media. She focuses on accidental small mistakes, so-called glitches, and emphasises their positive consequences. In 2010, Menkman organised the international media festival GLI.TC/H. Her short film Lunar Storm (2013) is part of Vertical Cinema, a compilation programme consisting of ten experimental films on 35mm celluloid, made for projection on a monumental vertical screen.
