Pere Portabella

Pere PORTABELLA (1929, Spain) is a director and producer of experimental films who has been important in Spanish politics since the 1960s. He was also part of the Escuela de Barcelona, a group of Catalan filmmakers from the 1960s. With his production company Film 59, Portabella has produced some of the most emblematic films in the history of Spanish cinema.
