Pen-ek Ratanaruang

Pen-ek RATANARUANG (1962, Bangkok) studied in New York at the Pratt Institute from 1977 to 1985 and worked as freelance illustrator and designer. In Thailand he worked for five years as art director, before making his début with Fun Bar Karaoke (1997). His feature 6ixtynin9 was selected for the Tiger competition at IFFR 2000.
