Paul R. Chandler

Filmmaker and producer Paul R. Chandler, based in Bamako in Mali, has been documenting the complexities of Malian traditional music for over a decade. This gave him a unique position for him to film the most ancient and diverse musical tradition, resulting in his first feature documentary It Must Make Peace (2017). Chandler is the founder of the NGO i4Africa and Studio Mali recording studio.
