Filmmaker&nbsp;Pablo SIGG (1974, Mexico) is known for his long research process. His first documentary Der Wille Zur Macht (2013), took four years to finish and is about the Aryan colony of Nueva Germania founded by Friedrich Nietzsche's sister in the middle of the Paraguayan jungle. His first fiction film&nbsp;Lamaland (Teil I) (2018), world premiere at IFFR, is the first of a two part project made with Friedrich and Max Josef Schweikhart, the surviving descendants of this community.

In the jungle of Paraguay live the Schweikhart brothers, descendants of the Aryan colony Nueva Germania, once founded in Paraguay by the sister of Nietzsche. With them as protagonists and in difficult conditions, Sigg shot this painterly fiction about the collapse of the fossilised order of their daily existence. With a leading role for a hypnotic, threatening soundtrack.
