Oskar Jonasson

Oskar JONASSON (1963, Iceland) is a film and television director. His film Remote Control (1992) was selected for the Un Certain Regard programme at the Cannes Film Festival in 1993. The script for the film Reykjavik-Rotterdam (2008) was written by Jonasson and Iceland's most famous crime author Arnaldur Indridason. The film was awarded five EDDA's (Iceland's Oscar) and was Iceland's official entry for the Academy Award.
