Oguchi Yoko

OGUCHI Yoko (1964, Japan) was filming on 8mm film from the age of 19. To begin with, her work was about the denial of the female body and the feeling of femininity. Later she focused on themes such as love, desire and miscommunication. In 2007, she was nominated for a Tiger Award for Short Films in Rotterdam. Her work was shown in a retrospective at the Feminism Video Activist Biennale in Seoul in 2010.
