Noah Baumbach

Noah BAUMBACH (New York, 1969) grew up in culture loving environment as the son of a writer and (film)critics. He studied at Vassar College. His The Squid and the Whale (2005), an autobiographical comedy about his childhood in Brooklyn and his parents' divorce, became a festival hit. He also wrote the script himself and received several nominations (one for an Oscar) and awards.
