Nicolas Medy
Still: Nuit de ChineBorn in Paris in 1993, Nicolas Medy studies first music and photography. After a master’s degree in history at Paris La Sorbonne, he follows a master’s program on documentary at Paris VII Diderot. Next to his studies, he directs his first short film Bientôt le feu (2016). A year later he joins the art collective Paradisier Zootrope, with which he directs Soleil Bruns (2016), a vampire, homoerotic and political tale, and Vissi d’amore (2018), a soap biblical opera. In 2020 he shot his third short film, Nuit de chine (2021)
