Minh Nguyen-Vô

MINH Nguyen-Vô (1959, Vietnam) grew up during the war, trying to escape it by watching international films in so-called Vung Tau cinemas. At the age of 18 he left to study engineering in France and applied physics at the University of California, Los Angeles before obtaining a diploma in cinema and new media at UCLA Extension. After directing a short film and a documentary, he participated in the Independent Feature Project/West's Screenwriters Lab with his script for Buffalo Boy, which is his first feature film.
