Dutch writer and filmmaker Michael BARZILAIJ followed an Audiovisual Design education at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, before following a postdoc in Journalism. He has worked for several Dutch TV channels and writes for a number of magazines and online media. In 2013 he co-directed the documentary <strong>Mijn leven als Deelder</strong> with Bob Visser. He is currently finishing a non-fiction book about his grandmother, who was part of the resistance during World War II.
