Mauro Andrizzi
Still: DisorderMauro ANDRIZZI (1980, Argentina) is a director, scriptwriter and producer for films, documentaries, TV and series. He studied scriptwriting and graduated from the National Film School of Argentina ENERC in Buenos Aires. While a student, he wrote and directed several short films. In 2007, he debuted with his first feature documentary, Mono, on the Argentinian music scene. After the success of this film, he started his own production company, Mono Films. Andrizzi’s first fiction film En el Futuro/In the Future world-premiered at Venice Film Festival’s Orizzonti section, where it won the Queer Lion award. His next film, Accidentes Gloriosos/Glorious Accidents (2011) also premiered in Venice’s Orizzonti section, and received the award for Best Mid-length film. Andrizzi also worked for 7 years as a film programmer for Mar del Plata Intl. Film Festival, from 2000 to 2007.
