Matthew C. Wilson at IFFR
Matthew C. WILSON (1982, USA) started out combining video and sculptures in installations, before stepping into the production of single-channel films for the cinema. Through these works, he takes a critical look at modernity’s modes of seeing, intellectual frameworks and institutions. He holds an MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University in New York and attended the Whitney Independent Study Program. In 2016, he moved to the Netherlands and enrolled in the Jan van Eyck Academie.
