Marilina GIM&Eacute;NEZ (1978, Argentina) studied sound design at university in Buenos Aires before becoming an audiovisual designer for various film and television productions. From 2007 to 2013 she also played bass in the three-woman band, Yilet. Her experiences as a female musician in a male-dominated profession inspired her to make her first documentary, <strong>Una banda de chicas</strong>&nbsp;/<strong>A Girl's Band </strong>(2018).
